Jessica Mulroney has resurfaced on social media!
Exactly two months after getting canceled for her display of “textbook white privilege” against lifestyle influencer Sasha Exeter, the 40-year-old stylist and ex-BFF to Meghan Markle has returned to Instagram with a brand new post where she partially acknowledged the big scandal.

Mulroney uploaded a video of her husband Ben bringing out a cake to celebrate the birthday of their twin sons Brian and John. In her caption, the proud momma said she has been going through it lately but has since found joy in her family through dark times, writing:
“Happy 10th to my twin babies. My incredible family have had to witness mom in the worst state. These two boys have not left my side and gave me the will to live and work hard when everything fell apart. They deserve the best birthday. Only up from here.”

For those who need a refresher, Mulroney came under fire after Exeter accused her of bullying and threatening the blogger’s livelihood following a post where she asked her peers to speak up more about the Black Lives Matter movement. The call to action was not aimed at anyone in particular, but Jessica was personally offended by it and threatened a libel lawsuit against Sasha if she continued to speak out. Though the TV personality later apologized for her actions, the messy internet spat got her CTV hosting gig canceled, prompted Good Morning America to let her go as a contributor, and the Duchess of Sussex to cut her off as a friend. Her husband Ben also stepped down from his 18-year position as an anchor on CTV’s eTalk amid the drama with his wife and urged the network to hire a Black, indigenous, or person of color to fill his role.
While Jessica seems like she’s doing her best to put this all behind her, at least two of her 390,000 followers have not forgotten about the icky controversy. In the comments section, one user wrote:
“Dumped by MeGain got you down? Join the crowd”
To which the Canada native responded:
“Just stop.”
In a second comment, which has since been deleted, Mulroney begged another critic to stop harping on the past and trolling her page:
“Can you move on? It would be much appreciated.”
Yikes! So much for her desire to go “only up from here” after those comments. We guess that fancy PR firm she hired to make this all go away needs to work a little harder, too! Perezcious readers, do U think Jessica’s reputation can ever recover from this? Is she still deserving of all this hate months later, or have U already gotten over it? Let us know (below) in the comments!
