Now it all makes sense.
Unfortunately, for the most tragic of reasons, Tori Roloff's silence of late makes total and complete sense.
As you may have heard about, Audrey and Jeremy Roloff revealed a couple weeks ago that they're expecting their third child in November.
As you also may have noticed, their sister-in-law didn't congratulate the pair; not in public at least.
Why did Tori seemingly snub her loved ones in this sort of manner?
We're pretty sure we now know the reason.
"Today’s hard. I’m not usually a downer, but today’s hard," wrote Tori in a very candid Instagram post on Tuesday.
She then referenced the episode of Little People, Big World that aired last night, explained that it was filmed many months ago and told followers why it made everything so challenging at the moment.
"Tonight LPBW airs the beginning of our story from March," Tori wrote.
"It’s the hardest story I’ve ever had to tell and I told it to the world. Don’t get me wrong- I’m so thankful I’m able to reach so many people.
"Even if I help one person it was worth it. But it’s so dang hard."
Tori admitted to fans right around the time this installment was shot that she had suffered a miscarriage.
"We were so excited to share some exciting news this week," wrote Tori to open her message back then.
"We were so excited when we found out we were expecting baby #3, and we couldn’t wait to share.
"We went in for our first ultrasound at 8 weeks and found out that we lost our sweet baby two weeks earlier."
No wonder Tori couldn't gush over Audrey's pregnancy, right? The miraculous news from her in-laws only served to highlight the struggles she and husband Zach are going through these days.
"I’ve honestly never felt loss like I did in that moment," Tori continued this spring, tugging on every heartstring.
"I’ve never felt so sad, angry, and scared in a single moment.
"I had no symptoms of losing out sweet angel baby and nothing could have prepared me for hearing our sweet baby was gone."
Nothing ever can, we'd imagine.
On Tuesday, Tori said she and Zach are trying to get pregnant again. However...
"I also found out today it’ll be another month of waiting. Another month of praying. Another month of telling friends and family, 'not yet,'" she wrote online.
"I really thought I would pregnant again by now.
"So many people told me after a loss it usually happens so fast. That’s not our reality."
In the wake of such difficulties, Tori said she's turning to a higher power. What else can she do, you know?
"Our pastor reminded me this Sunday that God leads us in a way that makes us dependent on Him.
"Following Jesus doesn’t mean there will be no pain- it means that his powers are bigger than our pain.
"I am a faithful servant and I pray that I’m not forgotten. Just like Hannah."
Concluded Roloff:
So that’s where I’m at. Fully dependent on God. Praying that one day we will be able to add to our family. But also giving thanks for the small things.
I wanted to also say thank you to every single one of you who have shared your stories with me.
It in a way makes things easier and harder all at the same time.
To all those mamas past present and future- love you.
Just heartbreaking all around.
We admire Tori for her honesty and we continue to send her and Zach nothing but the very best wishes.
Hang in there, guys.
