The woman who Kenneth Petty was convicted in 1995 of assaulting is reeling from the aftermath of her first on-camera interview about her horrible ordeal.
Jennifer Hough (pictured above), the victim of the first-degree attempted rape for which Petty was convicted and sent to prison more than two decades ago, came forward earlier this week with a heartbreaking interview on the daytime TV talk show The Real, her first televised appearance about her ordeal.
And now, to make an already difficult situation even worse, she’s apparently receiving an unrelenting onslaught of awful, vile, crude, and violent messages from people purporting to be fans of Petty’s wife, rapper Nicki Minaj.

TMZ claims to have obtained some of the direct messages sent to Jennifer in the wake of her gut-wrenching interview with host Adrienne Bailon, and there are just… there are no words.
In one message, a social media user tells Hough — who is currently suing Minaj and Petty over defamation and witness intimidation allegations — that she is “f**king sick” for filing the lawsuit and speaking out. Others shared unnecessarily aggressive messages alleging Hough is merely trying to separate Minaj from her money.
One user simply wrote “hope you die bitch,” before adding: (below):
“You will not get away with it don’t go against Nicki impossible … Clout chaser leave Nicki alone … You mad he’s married to a millionaire now you want money, your clown Ass Will Be Exposed Don’t Come For My Queen And Lying On Her Name…”
Another user claimed Hough “really got issues,” while one more wrote:
“You’re just a thief trying to make money off Nicki Minaj and Kenneth’s name”
Ugh.
Considering how devastated Hough appeared to be during that interview on The Real, we’re extremely skeptical she (or anyone) would ever willingly put themselves through something as awful as this for money.

As you’ll recall, Hough and her attorney, Tyrone Blackburn (pictured above, inset), went on The Real earlier this week and detailed her lawsuit against Minaj and Petty, whom she accuses of threatening her not to speak publicly about the initial incident.
ICYMI, you can see that nearly 20-minute-long interview (below):
There is some good news in all this.
TMZ claims that on Thursday alone, Blackburn received messages “from 30 different women” expressing support for Jennifer, and thanking her for speaking out publicly about her situation.
Still, we’re beyond disgusted by the worst of these irresponsible and scary social media antics.
So much hate…
