On Season 18 of The Bachelorette, LT Murray IV is trying to become Michelle Young's husband.
But here's the thing about LT Murray IV:
He's already related to Oscar-winning actor Clint Eastwood!
The suitor is this actor's grandson! For real!
Murray made quite the debut on The Bachelorette this past Tuesday night, showing up to greet Young without any pants on.
It was a bold move, but it worked out for Murray because he made the cut; Young presented him with a rose to conclude the season premiere a few days ago.
The 38-year old is a Washington native who is also the oldest contestant on Season 18.
He's a personal trainer and has two cats.
But we know what you're dying to learn more about... that whole Clint Eastwood thing!
According to a touching 2018 Daily Mail story, Eastwood fathered a daughter over three decades ago who was put up for adoption without his knowledge ... and then she tracked him down 30 years later.
This daughter, as it turned out, gave birth to a son.
And that son is none other than LT Murray IV, who has said on more than one occasion that the very famous director has been nothing but supportive of him and his family, once Eastwood learned they existed.
As for Murray's future on The Bachelorette?
The suitor's official bio says LT "wants to find someone who will appreciate his quirky sense of humor, join him on long walks and truly bring out the best in him.
"LT is a romantic at heart who, at his core, just wants to find someone with whom to watch old movies and exchange love letters."
Sounds like an idea husband, doesn't it?
Based on The Bachelorette spoilers we've ready, however, Michelle selects someone else at the end of her romantic journey.
We can also confirm that Murray doesn't end up as the next Bachelor because that role will be filled by Clayton Echard, yet another contestant on this new season of The Bachelorette.
So those are some tough breaks for the aspiring spouse.
On a more positive note, though?
Murray can go home and receieve a pep talk from Clint frickin' Eastwoodd at some point.
That's more than most of us can say, you know?
The Bachelorette airs on Tuesday nights at 8/7c on ABC.
