Aaron Rodgers is sharing an update from the hospital after having surgery to fix his torn Achilles.
The 39-year-old quarterback was injured in the first moments of his first game with the New York Jets after recently joining the east coast team. He’s now going to be out for the rest of the season due to the injury.
Aaron had surgery on Wednesday (September 13) and he took to Instagram Stories to share a photo of himself in the hospital bed along with a quick update.

“Surgery went great yesterday. Thank you for all the love and prayers and support. And thanks to the [GOAT] Dr. ElAttrache and his staff for starting me on the road to recovery,” he captioned the photo.
In the picture, you can see a glimpse of Aaron‘s black and blue foot, but the caption covered most of the injury.
Aaron shared his first statement since the injury on the day of his surgery.
