Adam Sandler Pays Tribute to Bob Barker After His Death: 'Such a Sweet Funny Guy'

Adam Sandler is reacting to the death of Bob Barker.

On Saturday (August 26), it was announced that the legendary The Price Is Right host had died at the age of 99.

Shortly after the news was announced, Adam took to social media to reflect on his time working with Bob on the set of Happy Gilmore.

Bob played himself in the 1996 comedy. The film features a celebrity Pro-Am game, in which Happy Gilmore gets paired up with Bob, but his game suffers after he’s distracted by a heckler. Bob calls him out and Happy reacts by punching the Price Is Right host in the face.

“The man. The myth. The best. Such a sweet funny guy to hang out with. Loved talking to him,” Adam wrote on Twitter. “Loved laughing with him. Loved him kicking the crap out of me. He will be missed by everyone I know! Heartbreaking day.”

He concluded his post by writing, “Love to Bob always and his family! Thanks for all you gave us!”
