We now know the official cause of death for Alex Pretti in that awful Minnesota shooting last month that has unfortunately been seen around the world.

According to multiple media reports out on Monday, Pretti’s death has officially been classified as a homicide. That’s according to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office in the Minneapolis area, where Pretti was killed less than two weeks ago.

As we’ve reported, the 37-year-old was shot by a US Border Patrol agent and a US Customs and Border Protection officer back on January 24 during an altercation on the street with officers who were conducting controversial immigration patrols at the time.

Per TMZ and others, medical examiner Dr. Andrew Baker officially listed “multiple gunshot wounds” under Pretti’s cause of death. And under the “how injury occurred” section, Dr. Baker added:

“Shot by law enforcement officer(s).”

Pretti’s body was sent to a funeral home after the medical examiner completed his findings, per the document.

He would have turned 38 years old next month.

Such a sad, awful situation. Ugh.
