Anne Hathaway is opening up about her evolving sense of style.

The 40-year-old Devil Wears Prada actress is no stranger to the world of fashion. She’s been killing it on the red carpet since the earliest days of her career.

However, there’s been a slight shift in her style recently. She’s trending toward bolder fashion choices and innovative risk-taking. In a new interview, Anne revealed the generation that is inspiring her to mix up her image.

During a conversation with Vogue, Anne listed her stylist Erin Walsh as a big inspiration.

She also looks to Gen Z: “I know this sounds like I’m super-pandering, but I’m really switched on by Gen Z,” she told the outlet. “It’s a fun generation when it comes to fashion. They really hit it just right where they have a great time with it, but they define themselves by themselves.”

The actress continued, explaining, “Their relationship with [fashion], the way it’s received, it’s a really, really fun dance.”
