Since leaving RHONY, Bethenny Frankel has continued to voice her thoughts.
Bethenny does not rely solely upon her podcast. She also uses social media.
Now she is using TikTok, of all things, to go to war with the Kardashians.
Bethenny is taking aim Kim Kardashian’s SKKN By Kim products.
Bethenny Frankel took to TikTok earlier this week to review Kim Kardashian’s products.
Kim offers a $55 exfoliator. She also offers a $75 under eye cream.
Both are part of Kim’s nine-step line. Bethenny says that she is “very well” familiarized with this “category” of products.
In Bethenny’s estimation, the whole premise of a nine-step line is extracting more money from buyers.
“Any line that makes it like you need to do all of the steps is just doing a smash and grab job,” she declared.
She then explained “because your skin is different every day.”
Bethenny reviewed the “bulbous” eye cream.
“I don’t understand it because it doesn’t stack,” she said, critiquing the packaging.
For that reason, she called the product “impractical at best.”
Relatedly, Bethenny also took the exfoliator to task because of the container’s size.
“If you don’t have a private plane … you have to be a billionaire to use this product,” she half-joked.
“Because if you’re not on a private plane,” Bethenny asked, “how are you traveling with this?”
Kim has a reputation for her focus upon organization.
(Let’s face it, Kim can be kind of intense about certain things)
Because of that, Bethenny expressed, she felt “shocked” at the design choice.
Bethenny joked that the packaging amounted to a “Rubik’s cube” as she tried to open it.
She did like the “form of exfoliator” and praised the “luxurious” eye cream, but felt concerned about the price.
If you buy Kim’s whole line, you’re looking at $575 of face goop.
“Is it worth the money they’re charging? Unlikely,” Bethenny declared.
“It’s not Kardashian rich,” she said of the product’s value.
“It’s richer than I am, maybe,” Bethenny continued, “but it’s not Kardashian rich.”
“This is definitely good skin care,” Bethenny confirmed. “This is quality.”
She continued: “I just think it’s extremely impractical in its packaging.”
Bethenny then praised: “I know it’s very ecologically sound.”
“It’s a good quality product,” Bethenny assessed.
She said that it is a product “that is likely overpriced.”
“But,” Bethenny then admitted, “most beauty is overpriced.”
