Big Brother‘s premiere episode from the 25th season just debuted last night and already, there’s a lot happening.

The 90 minute episode switched things up in the Big Brother Universe. In the past, the debut episode always saw a Head of Household competition to see who would be the first HoH of the season. This season, they’re leaning into a “multiverse” theme with broken dimensions. Thus, the first competition was not for HoH, but for nominations for elimination. Normally, the Head of Household would nominate the first three houseguests.
