Bob Barker has sadly died.
The iconic host of The Price Is Right for 35 years passed away at the age of 99, his publicist announced on Saturday (August 26).
“It is with profound sadness that we announce that the World’s Greatest MC who ever lived, Bob Barker has left us,” Bob‘s publicist Roger Neal shared in a statement with Today.

Bob first got into the entertainment industry when he launched his radio program The Bob Barker Show in 1950.
In 1956, Bob got his big break in TV when he was hired as the host of Truth or Consequences on NBC. The series was syndicated in 1966 and remained as host until it ended in 1975.
Bob was the host of CBS’ The Price Is Right from 1972 until he retired in 2007. He earned 17 Emmy Awards for his work on the show and he received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Emmys in 1999. Drew Carey has been hosting for the last 16 years.
