Britney Spears is showing off her new ink.

On Friday (September 1), the 41-year-old performer took to Instagram to share a video of her getting a snake tattoo on her lower back.

In a video posted to her grid, the “Mind Your Business” singer showed the red tattoo to the camera. “My new snake tattoo, guys. I’m so excited, yeah,” she said.

The video then cuts to a clip of Britney sitting as she gets the tattoo. At one point she opens up her mouth in pain, before noting: “It doesn’t hurt that bad, actually.”

Her post comes after it was announced that she and Sam Asghari had split after one year of marriage. Sam filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason.
