Earlier this month, Britney Spears married Sam Asghari in a small private ceremony at her home in Southern California.
Sam stuck by Britney’s side throughout all of the horrors of her conservatorship and her ugly legal battle against her father.
So for many fans, the wedding seemed symbolic of the fact that Brit had finally entered a happier, more peaceful period in her life.
Unfortunately, the ceremony did not go according to plan, and Brit was once again tormented by one of the awful men from her past.

Back in 2004, Britney was very briefly married to a guy named Jason Alexander.
(Sadly, he’s not the same Jason Alexander who played George on Seinfeld, which would make this a much more interesting story.)
The marriage was annulled but Jason clearly never got over his ex.

Alexander crashed Britney’s wedding, but thankfully, police were able to intervene and take him into custody.
Video from the incident was frightening, to say the least, with Jason repeatedly demanding, “Where’s Britney at?”
And now, it seems that the situation was even scarier than we thought!

According to a new report from TMZ, Jason was armed with a knife when he invaded the event.
He also attempted to enter Britney’s bedroom while the singer was inside.
Thankfully, the door was locked and Alexander was unable to enter.

These new details come to us courtesy of courtroom testimony from Britney’s bodyguard, who was fired after letting Alexander get so dangerously close to his stalking victim.
Alexander pled not guilty at his arraignment on Monday and was formally charged with felony stalking, plus vandalism, and trespassing battery.
The bodyguard testified that Alexander had been spotted on the outskirts of Spears’ property several times in the days leading up to her wedding.

When he gained access to the grounds on Britney’s wedding day, Alexander kept repeating that he needed to speak to the star.
Jason livestreamed part of his invasion, and the footage corroborates the guard’s terrifying claims.
“My name’s Jason Alexander. Britney invited me here,” Alexander claimed on Instagram prior to his arrest.

“Britney Spears invited me here. She’s my first wife, my only wife. I’m her first husband. I’m here to crash the wedding,” the delusional stalker continued.
Britney was not in court on Monday, but testimony from other witnesses made it clear that she was badly shaken by the event.
One witness recalled Britney telling her longtime agent, Cade Hudson, that the incident was “scary.”

Britney was awarded a three-year restraining order against Alexander, and fans are hoping that her safety will be further assured by a prison sentence for Jason.
The guy has our sympathy, as he’s clearly suffering from some serious mental health issues.
But it’s clear that he represents a real danger to himself and others.

And with how much Brit has been through in recent years, the last thing she needs is the constant fear that a deranged stalker is gonna kick in her door.
It’s bad enough she has to deal with the knowledge that her father is walking around as a free man!
