Fans of The Notebook and Broadway have something to celebrate: A musical based on the Nicholas Sparks love story is set to premiere in 2024!

Of course, The Notebook is more than just a beloved novel. It also inspired a fan-favorite movie, which starred Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling and premiered in 2004.

Twenty years later, the story will be retold in a new way, and we’ve learned some exciting details about what to expect when it arrives.

Casting for the musical has not yet been announced. However, we did learn some other news. For starters, The Hollywood Reporter announced that the play was set to make its Broadway premiere on March 14, 2024.

It will run in the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, and excited fans will be able to attend a preview show as early as February 6.

Of course, some fans have likely already seen the show. It was first revealed in 2022 in Chicago, Illinois. The musical is going to be directed by Michael Greif and Schele Williams and features music from Ingrid Michaelson.
