BTS Member Suga Is Preparing to Enlist in Mandatory Military Service

Suga is the next member of BTS preparing to begin his mandatory military service.

If you didn’t know, male citizens of South Korea must perform up to two years of service in the military, enlisting before the age of 28. All BTS members were allowed to put off starting their military service until they turned 30.

The 30-year-old superstar’s agency, BIGHIT MUSIC, issued a statement on Monday (August 7), via Soompi.

Keep reading to find out more…“Hello. This is BIGHIT MUSIC. We would like to inform our fans that Suga has initiated the military enlistment process by applying for the termination of his enlistment postponement,” they said.

“We will inform you of further updates in due course. We ask you for your continued love and support for Suga until he completes his military service and safely returns. Our company will spare no effort in providing support for our artist. Thank you,” they continued.
