Carly Rae Jepsen Plans Two Last-Minute NYC Shows After Pier 17 Concert Ends Early Due to Lightning

Carly Rae Jepsen is making it up to her fans after having to abruptly cancel her New York City concert, just 15 minutes into the show.

The “Call Me Maybe” singer was performing her show at The Rooftop at Pier 17, but a rain and lightning storm caused it to be canceled just a few songs into the event.

“Nobody is getting electrocuted tonight!” Carly Rae announced to the crowd while telling everyone that she was being forced to end the performance.

Well, Carly Rae is giving fans two more opportunities to see her live.

“NYC!! Lightning ⚡️ made us quit early today but I am not in the quitting mood. Rockwood Music Hall tonight! 11pm doors- first 150 people w tonight’s tickets in hand- can come do a sing along w us! PS if you can’t make it.. matinee show tomorrow at Pier 17! Doors at 2pm!!” Carly Rae tweeted.

It looks like the August 7 evening performance is getting a redo on Tuesday afternoon (August 8). There’s also a Tuesday evening performance, but tickets are already sold out unfortunately.
