Gal Gadot has been teasing plans for the future of Wonder Woman, but there are conflicting reports about her continued involvement in the DC film franchise.
The 38-year-old actress brought the iconic hero to life in several films, including solo outings in 2017 and 2020. A third solo movie was in the works with director Patty Jenkins. Reports suggested that it had stalled in December 2022.
The fate of DC’s heroes has been unclear since James Gunn and Pater Safran assumed control of the company. Actors such as Henry Cavill have been let go to focus on new retellings, leading many to believe that Gal was also done in her role.
However, in recent interviews Gal has suggested that she was set to return for a third Wonder Woman movie. Sources are suggesting otherwise.
