Disney+ has just shared some exciting news for Doctor Who fans!
The streamer, which is the new global home for the hit series outside of the UK and Ireland, revealed the release dates for the upcoming three 60th anniversary specials.
David Tennant returns as the Doctor, along with Catherine Tate as his companion Donna Temple-Noble.

The upcoming specials will reunite the Fourteenth Doctor (Tennant) and Donna Temple-Noble (Tate) as they come face-to-face with their most terrifying villain yet: the Toymaker (Neil Patrick Harris).
Also set to star in the specials are Heartstopper‘s Yasmin Finney as Rose Temple-Noble, Miriam Margolyes as the voice of the Meep and Ruth Madeley as Shirley Anne Bingham, as well as Jacqueline King as Sylvia Noble, Karl Collins as Shaun Temple, and Jemma Redgrave as Kate Lethbridge-Stewart.
The first special, “The Star Beast,” will premiere on Disney+ on November 25th, the second, “Wild Blue Yonder” premieres December 2nd and the third, “The Giggle,” debuts December 9th – Check out a new trailer here!
Following the specials, Ncuti Gatwa takes over as the Fifteenth Doctor for the festive period and the new season, which will air on BBC in the UK and Ireland, and stream on Disney+ globally in 2024.
