FOX 11 meteorologists explained, “Large puddles accumulated in the parking lot during the storm’s heavy rainfall. The sky then reflected light onto the sitting puddles in the parking lot, creating the illusion that the stadium was flooded.”

Dodger Stadium is located on a hill and the possibility of the parking lot flooding is very small.

The team responded to the speculation by sharing a photo of the baseball stadium looking pristine and dry on Monday morning (August 21).

“Dodger Stadium trending? We get it. It looks beautiful this morning,” the team said.
