This really is Ellen DeGeneres’ Last Stand…
The canceled comic has been on a mission to recoup her stardom ever since being accused of cultivating a toxic work environment on her popular daytime talk show, which came to an end after 19 seasons in 2022. She launched her Ellen’s Last Stand… Up comedy tour in June, where she’s been vocal about the scrutiny she faced in the wake of multiple troubling allegations. But we have a sneaking suspicion that it’s just not going the way she’d hoped…

During a show in Santa Rosa, California last week, the 66-year-old reportedly told fans that her tour name isn’t just for s**ts and giggles… It’s indicative of her real truth! According to the SF Gate, a fan asked whether she’ll appear in future creative prospects like in film or on Broadway, and she responded:
“Um, no. This is the last time you’re going to see me. After my Netflix special, I’m done.”
Whoa! Done?! Based on previous reports, we were thinking she was planning a MUCH bigger comeback — but this is it??
She’s been teasing said Netflix special for while now on tour, but it’s unclear when exactly it’s set to drop. Another fan reportedly asked if she’d ever return to voice her famous character Dory from the Finding Nemo Pixar franchise, and she sternly answered:
“No, I’m going bye-bye, remember?”
Is it just us, or did we detect a heaping tablespoon of salt in that response??
This all came just before the TV personality abruptly canceled a BUNCH of tour dates in Dallas, San Francisco, Seattle, and Chicago. No specific real reason why was given, but low ticket sales might not be a bad guess.
Thoughts, Perezcious readers? Is it time for Ellen to step back from Hollywood for good?? Let us know in the comments down below…
