Eminem Caught Siding With Chris Brown Over Rihanna Assault On Alleged Diss Track From 2009

Oh man. We truly could’ve done without this piece of news…

A newly leaked snippet from what appears to be an old Eminem track began circulating online recently because it features a line about siding with Chris Brown after he assaulted Rihanna back in 2009. In the audio clip, the 47-year-old rapper defends CB and says:

“Of course I side with Chris Brown, I’d beat down a bitch too.”

Um, excuse us??

According to Insider, a Reddit user posted the seven-second recording titled (SNIPPET) Eminem – Things Get Worse (Rihanna Diss) on Sunday and it was still up as of Monday, November 4.

The gross line in question (above) is seemingly from an unreleased version of B.o.B.‘s 2011 song titled, Things Get Worse. However, the original was supposedly first recorded for Em’s 2009 album, Relapse, which was released a just few months after Brown’s felony assault charge stemming from his domestic dispute with Rihanna. The infamous fight left the 31-year-old with severe bruises and bleeding, leading to her hospitalization.

It’s been exactly a decade since the terrible assault went down and the alleged recording was created, so, we have a hard time understanding why it’s been unearthed now. Moreover, we were under the impression Rih and the Lose Yourself artist didn’t have any bad blood between ’em considering their musical collaborations together.

As you’ll recall, the Bajan songstress and the rapper, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, have worked together multiple times; the pair released their emotional duet Love the Way You Lie in 2010 and later collaborated once more on The Monster in 2013.

Heck, these two even toured together for a little while after releasing the latter track. So, WTF is really going on here?? Was the guy just harboring these feelings all along?

Although the highly offensive, disgusting, and now-viral line never actually made it to the final version, it’s worth noting other obscene lyrics where Eminem said he “murdered” Dakota Fanning and “put Natasha Bedingfield in a washer” made the cut. Later on, the Detroit native had less than favorable things to say about Angelina Jolie, Carmen Electra, Jessica Simpson, and his mom.

Now, while the polarizing entertainer has a history of penning highly disturbing, violent, and misogynistic lyrics about plenty of other women in his life and the industry — is it really a valid defense for his line about Rihanna?

Should we continue to look the other way and shrug our shoulders because this is just another case of the real Slim Shady standing up for his ridiculous antics?
