According to Variety, Eminem and music licenser BMI had sent a cease and desist letter to Vivek’s lawyer “objecting to the campaign’s use of Eminem’s musical compositions.”

In the letter, it reads that “BMI will consider any performance of the Eminem Works by the Vivek 2024 campaign from this date forward to be a material breach of the Agreement for which BMI reserves all rights and remedies with respect thereto.”

Vivek‘s rapping has caught significant attention by social media users, with videos being posted on almost all platforms. He just recently rapped the song during his stop at the Iowa State Fair.
