George Clooney and his wife Amal arrive at the Venice, Italy airport together on Tuesday (August 29).

The 62-year-old actor and the 45-year-old human rights lawyer looked cheerful as they walked hand in hand through the airport. Amal sported a white summer dress with black flower decorations, and George wore white pants and a black T-shirt.

The happy couple has been married since 2014. They had one of the most expensive celebrity weddings of all time, reportedly spending more than $4 million on the festivities which coincidentally took place in Venice.

George seemed to be in good spirits despite the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike. He recently shared his thoughts on the movement during an interview.

“This is an inflection point in our industry,” he said. “Actors and writers in large numbers have lost their ability to make a living. For our industry to survive that has to change. For actors that journey starts now.”
