Fans may be marveling over Hailey Bieber’s new engagement ring, but she wants everyone to know — it’s not really all that big, you guys!

Back in May, the momma-to-be took to Instagram to show off a MASSIVE new sparkling diamond on her ring finger after her and Justin Bieber renewed their vows six years after saying “I do.”  You can see it for yourself (below):

At the time, jewelers estimated the custom Lorraine Schwartz bling to be a whopping 18 carats — a step up from her previous ring. Lorel Diamonds jeweler Laura Taylor told Page Six at the time:

“The new ring is almost identical to her original engagement ring in terms of the four-prong setting, a style Hailey is a fan of, though the elongated oval-cut diamond is considerably bigger at roughly 18-carats.”

Impressive, right? Well, Hailey doesn’t necessarily think so!

During an interview with W Magazine published on Tuesday, the Rhode Beauty founder attempted to silence swooning fans by downplaying the enormous jewel — but ended up kind of just sounding out of touch! She told the magazine:

“They’re going off with their own stories about it. Actually, this is only one carat bigger. It’s just elongated.”

“Only one carat bigger” — sheesh, is she serious?! She’s acting like that’s a whole lot of nothing! The most expensive and sparkly nothing we’ve ever heard of! LOLz! But we guess when you grow up with Baldwin money and now have Bieber money, one carat really just is pocket change.

Shutting down future chatter about her ring, she added:

“I don’t like it. I didn’t want to talk about it.”
