Hit The Quan Rapper iHeartMemphis ARRESTED After Tense 11-HOUR Police Standoff Following Disturbing Threats — DETAILS!

Rapper iHeartMemphis, AKA iLoveMemphis, was arrested Tuesday after a scary livestreamed standoff with police!

The musician, real name Richard Maurice Colbert, first concerned fans when he livestreamed for hours on Monday — even holding up a gun at one point. Yikes. Eventually, cops were called to the scene in Florida, and things only intensified. The Plantation Police Department told TMZ that they arrived at a residence on Monday night where the rapper was armed and barricaded amid an apparent mental health crisis.

During an 11-hour standoff, per WSVN, the Hit the Quan hitmaker told officers he was God and that he didn’t need to sleep, among other things. He was eventually taken into custody on an active warrant for making written or electronic threats to kill. According to Fox 13, the performer was live on Instagram when a SWAT team raided his home and arrested him.

He was taken to a local hospital to be evaluated as a precaution and then booked into jail. He was charged with making written or electronic threats to kill and for resisting an officer.

His dog, who was seen in the livestream, was safely removed from the home and given to a family member, the police noted. A family member told WFOR-TV that they had been trying to help the artist “for days.” So sad.
