Is Justin Bieber Leaving Scooter Braun Amid Rumored Mass Exodus? New Report Suggests He's Looking To... Eventually

Amid a rumored mass exodus of stars from Scooter Braun‘s management team, questions continue to swirl about his star client Justin Bieber.

It was recently reported that the music exec had parted ways with the likes of Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato. He is also said to no longer be working with Idina Menzel.

If you forgot, a report about Justin and Scooter going their separate ways was the first to break last week. However, it was rapidly shot down.

A new update suggests that Justin might actually be planning for a future without Scooter… eventually, that is.

According to a report from Billboard, Justin is “actively looking at how he might extract himself from that relationship” as Scooter is reportedly shifting his focus to spend more time working as the CEO of HYBE America.

While the musician might be preparing to leave, that doesn’t mean that it will be a quick thing. In fact, there are allegedly about four more years left on his contract with Scooter.

As Justin allegedly looks at his next options, he is said to have enlisted the assistance of music lawyer David Lande. It’s unlikely that they’ll take the matter to court, though. Historically, the courts tend to side with the management team and uphold the terms of a contract in these situations.

“If you’re talking about a case where the artist is just no longer content with their current manager and wants to get out of their management deal, they have a high bar to clear,” entertainment attorney Larry Katz explained to the outlet. “The only chance an artist would have is if they can demonstrate a well-documented pattern of failure by the manager.”

The report suggested that both Justin and Ariana were taking steps to prepare for an eventual departure from Scooter‘s team.

In the cast of Justin, he is said to not be looking for a new team at the moment. A source told Billboard that he’d be “a very attractive client” when the time comes, though.

“He’s young, he’s a proven superstar and he’s motivated to work and make money,” they said.
