James Charles is finally gearing up to drop his Painted makeup brand!
The 24-year-old YouTuber hopped online on Friday (July 28) to introduce his fans to the long-teased line of products.
In the reveal video, he announced the official release date, broke down prices, explained why his line was delayed by more than three years and announced that he’s already had a celebrity wearing his products!

Let’s start with the basics: James‘ Painted line will officially be available on August 7 here.
His first drop centers around 10 rainbow-bright Create Paints, which retail for $15 a piece or $135 for the full set. The versatile paints feature a cream-to-matte formula which is designed to dry after application and stay in place. The versatility means that they can do anything from create a graphic eye look to serve as blush on the cheeks.
Fans who buy the complete set of paints will receive them with a beauty sponge, which retails on its own for $10. Their purchase will also arrive in a custom tin.
James‘ final product this time around is a set of eye brushes, which can be purchased for $8 a piece or $40 for a set of six.
If you’re wondering about the quality of the products, James revealed that Beyonce has already used the eye paints on her Renaissance World Tour!
You might also be curious about what happened to delay the release of Painted. James first started teasing the brand back in 2020. In his reveal video, he explained that he made a last-minute decision to reformulate and switch labs and listed some other delays that came up.
