
Jamie Dornan opened up about one of the roles that got away and his feelings about the Fifty Shades of Grey franchise.
The 41-year-old actor starred in the romance series based on E.L. James‘ novels alongside Dakota Johnson between 2015 and 2018. Before he was cast, though, Charlie Hunnam was awarded the role.
While on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Jamie explained that he felt a sense of “relief” when he wasn’t cast initially. He broke down some of his hesitations about taking on the job.
Jamie also revealed the one superhero role that he auditioned for and was sad not to get.
