As we reported yesterday, David Eason has been charged with a misdemeanor in connection with allegations made by his 14-year-old son Jace.
Jace alleged that he was assaulted by Eason back in September, and David became the target of subsequent investigations by both local police and Child Protective Services.
It’s unclear what prompted the cops to finally file charges a month later, but insiders claim that the two investigating agencies have received video of the incident.
David denied the allegations when they first went public last month, but he’s been tight-lipped in response to the news that he’s facing charges.
But if you were hoping that the Easons would engage in one of their signature public meltdowns this week, fear not.
Jenelle is on the job!
“You would think police wouldn’t make a one-sided police investigation,” Evans wrote in her Instagram Story on Tuesday.
“They didn’t conduct interviews. Didn’t ask any information from the parents. This seems like a very bias situation like everytime [sic] before,” she continued.
“I trusted that detective with all of my heart. Forgot you can’t trust cops…silly me. I do not trust anyone around me. Going MIA for a while.”
So far, the whole “going MIA” thing isn’t working for Jenelle, who continued her rant in subsequent slides:
“I do not trust anyone around me … I have no idea what human being I can trust anymore, not even my own blood,” Evans wrote.
“I’m being fed all these different stories from different people. People trying to get on my good side.. To then betray me over and over.”
From there, Jenelle went off on the detectives who investigated Jace’s allegations, accusing them of the unforgivable offense of doing their job.
“Columbus County Sheriff’s Department I believe is the one doing the smearing campaign [sic] against my husband and needs to be held responsible,” she wrote.
“Literally they told details to the media about a minor and gave no f–ks. Have the emails to prove it. An open investigation is suppose [sic] to be kept private under all circumstances especially when it involves kids,” Evans raged on.
“Let’s go to court. I’ve been waiting on our day. I feel so violated by the system. Wait until the day you hear the truth. .. you will be begging me not to sue you.”
Jenelle went on to allege that police lied to her in order to make her feel comfortable in speaking with them.
“I would never think that of you two, you guys are both great parents,” one detective reportedly told her, adding, “Don’t believe the media. I’m telling you myself everything is OK on my end.”
Needless to say, Jenelle doesn’t seem to have a very good sense of how police investigations work (or the English language, for that matter).
In her last Instagram video before news of the charges was made public, Evans complained that she’s been receiving nonstop hate on her social media pages.
Well, if that bothers her, she might want to buckle in or delete her accounts.
Because something tells us that the situation is about to get much, much worse.
