These are divisive times within the Duggar family.

The formerly close-knit clan has been torn apart not only by the Josh Duggar sex scandals, but also by the actions of the family patriarch, Jim Bob Duggar.

Some Duggars, like Jill, have cut ties with Jim Bob.

Others, like Jill’s younger sister Jessa, have remained fiercely loyal to their father.

In fact, Jessa has praising Jim Bob more than ever in recent months, despite the fact that several of her siblings have distanced themselves from their parents.

The situation is so unexpected that some fans have accused Jessa of being brainwashed by her parents.

The mother of four typically doesn’t allow such criticism to get to her, but it seems she was more than a little bothered in this case.

Jessa clapped back at the fans who criticized her previous content.

And then she did something even more unexpected — she took a step away from social media.

Some of her followers speculated that the move might be permanent, but Jessa eventually returned to Instagram to share a short video featuring all four of her kids.

“Family time is golden!” Jessa captioned the video, which featured footage of her 1-year-old daughter Fern.

“Look at that little darlin’ all grown up!” one commenter wrote, according to UK tabloid The Sun.

“Awwww love this!! Fern looks so grown up!” another chimed in.

The video continued with a montage of Jessa’s kids enjoying time at a splash pad.

All-in-all fans seemed to enjoy the update, and the comments section was loaded with praise for Jessa and her family.

“Fern is walking already? Seems like you just gave birth to her a few months ago. Time flies,” wrote one such commenter.

“Love seeing the adventures of your beautiful, growing family.”

It was a far cry from the response to Jessa’s previous video — the now-infamous one in which she sang Jim Bob’s praises.

“So good to see you snd your family. I missed your posts,” another fan enthused.

“Blink twice if your parents are making you write these posts,” one comment read.

The remark was obviously meant as a joke, but clearly, Jessa didn’t find anything funny about it.

“I happen to deeply love and appreciate my parents … we have a wonderful relationship,” she clapped back at the commenter.

It’s not common for Jessa to get stern with followers like that.

But clearly, family is the most important thing in the world to the mother of four.

And she’s almost as devoted to her parents as she is to her kids.
