Not even the Grinch could steal this Christmas magic!

Saturday night marked a major occasion for the most wonderful time of the year: the Grinch and Cindy Lou Who reunited! That’s right! At the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Saturday, Christmas legends Jim Carrey and Taylor Momsen, who played the Grinch and Cindy Lou in 2000’s Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas respectively, came together for the first time in 25 years! People caught up with Taylor after the adorable moment and the 32-year-old detailed some of her favorite memories working with the comedian:

“I have a lot, honestly. I just love that he was very protective of me. He was always very kind. And just the entire experience of filming Grinch and getting to know him so well, even in all the makeup, was just wonderful.”

Awwwww!

Taylor reflected on the impact Jim made on her 5-year-old self when cameras rolled on the classic film all those years ago:

“As a young person watching an artist at work and taking their craft so seriously, that left a really powerful, lasting impact on me as an adult now. And I’m excited to be able to tell him that as a grownup.”

That’s SO incredibly sweet!

Earlier this month, Taylor appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast, where she revealed to host Alex Cooper she never actually saw Jim out of his Grinch makeup on set — but was NEVER scared:

“To me, he was always Jim and he was always in makeup. He was very protective of me, very kind, super funny, super animated, absolutely awesome. But the funny thing is I never knew what Jim Carrey looked like because I never saw him because he was there way early doing the prosthetics.”

LOLz! She continued:

“I didn’t know who Jim was until the premiere and someone had to point him out to me and go, ‘That’s Jim.’ And I went, ‘Oh, Jim.’”
