Jonathan Majors' Trial Date For Domestic Violence Is Scheduled

Jonathan Majors appeared in a Manhattan criminal courtroom on Tuesday (June 20) in New York City.

The judge set an August 3 trial date for the Creed III star, after he was arrested on March 25 for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend.

A New York judge granted a temporary order of protection to the alleged victim in April. Jonathan‘s attorney Priya Chaudhry claims he was the one who was assaulted during the incident.

While appearing at the Manhattan criminal courthouse today, the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania actor was accompanied by his current girlfriend, actress Meagan Good, and his lawyer, Priya Chaudhry.

Last month, his lawyer said, “We have provided the District Attorney with irrefutable evidence that the woman is lying, including video proof showing nothing happened, especially not where she claimed. We did this with the explicit promise from the DA that they would not “fix” their case and change it as we proved the woman is lying.”

“This is a witch hunt against Jonathan Majors, driven by baseless claims,” Chaudhry said in a statement, per Deadline.

After the incident, Jonathan was dropped by his manager and publicist, as well as several of his upcoming projects.
