Timothy Busfield has a history of alleged inappropriate behavior…
As we previously reported, the 68-year-old actor was arrested after being accused of engaging in unlawful sexual conduct with two 11-year-old twin boys. One of the minors claimed the incidents began when he was only 7. The Bernalillo County District Attorney Sam Bregman announced this month that Busfield was officially indicted on four counts of criminal sexual contact of a minor (child under 13). He denied the accusations and pleaded not guilty.

Following the arrest, another person came forward with allegations. The father of a then-16-year-old girl reported to law enforcement that Busfield “kissed her and put his hands down her pants and touched her privates,” when she auditioned for a role roughly 25 years ago at the B Street Theatre, which he co-founded and served as its artistic director.

However, Busfield has faced multiple allegations of sexual misconduct long before his current legal drama, including all the way back in 1994! And it is now coming out that Julia Roberts’ sister-in-law was involved in the case! Per The Hollywood Reporter, a 17-year-old extra on Little Big League, which he directed and starred in, accused him of assault. The Minnesota girl claimed Busfield served her alcohol, groped her, and attempted to initiate sex in his trailer. WTF.
According to Radar Online on Thursday, Eliza Roberts — who married the Pretty Woman star’s brother Eric Roberts — offered her support to the teen and testified in that child sexual assault case against Busfield. She allegedly experienced her own creepy behavior with the filmmaker, but not on the set of Little Big League. No, her alleged incident happened five years prior. Eliza claimed in the deposition that she barely knew Busfield when he suddenly expressed a desire to give her oral sex, insisted he’d be “so great in bed” for her, and complained how his then-wife, Jennifer Merwin, was a “lousy f**k.”
OMG…
There are no other details about Emma Roberts‘ stepmom’s testimony at this time. No criminal charges were ultimately ever filed in connection with the alleged incident with the teenager. Although Busfield denied the allegations, he settled the lawsuit for an undisclosed amount.
