Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber are hoping a higher power can save what appears to be a troubled marriage.
Late Wednesday night, the singer and the model arrived at Churchome Church in Beverly Hills, California… a trip that wouldn’t have been especially notable a few months ago.
HOWEVER, Hailey’s semi-famous father, Stephen Baldwin, had just reached out and asks folks to pray for the Biebers just hours before this holy visit.
The 57-year old actor shared a post from Victor Marx — founder of All Things Possible Ministries — that featured a video of Justin playing the guitar and singing along to the track “I Could Sing of Your Love Forever.”
“Christians, please when you think of Justin & Hailey, take a moment to offer a little prayer for them to have wisdom, protection and to draw close to the Lord,” Marx wrote atop the clip.
It has since been deleted.
In the caption, though, Victor said that his wife, Eileen Marx, and Hailey’s mom, Kennya Baldwin, “often pray together” for the young spouses.
“There are special challenges that folks in high visibility positions face and also the enemy doesn’t want them to draw closer to Jesus,” he wrote at the time, adding via caption:
“So often regardless of the material things or the accolades they often face spiritual warfare that intense and seeks to ship-wreck their faith , marriage and life in general. So thank you.”
Neither Justin nor Hailey has said anything in public about the state of their union.
HOWEVER, PART 2: Bieber simply chose not to take part in Usher’s Super Bowl halftime show last month, an unusual decision many have associated with Bieber’s ongoing unhappiness.
As you can see in the photo immediately above, Justin and Hailey actually attended this same Super Bowl — and looks miserable alongside each other in the stands.
A source previously told In Touch Weekly that Hailey believes her husband to be “clingy” and thinks “Justin relies on her so much for his emotional and psychological wellbeing.”
This source then took things a step further and supposedly told the magazine:
“There are times Hailey just wants to end it so she can be on her own again.”
Between fighting over past loves and old bad behavior — while also disagreeing over when to have children — the spouses “have had a lot of ups and downs. Friends are surprised they’ve lasted this long,” In Touch concluded.
Justin and Hailey exchanged vows in September 2018 after having been back together for just three months… following a previous run of dating three years earlier.
They stars have candid about some of the challenges they’ve faced ever since.
“Marriage is very hard,” Hailey straight up told Vogue a few months after the stars got married inside of a New York Cit courthouse.
“That is the sentence you should lead with. It’s really effing hard.”
