Kanye West says he’s “quite alright” in a return to Twitter.
Following weeks of heightened alarm over the rapper’s mental state, the Grammy winner confessed the public should be less “concerned” with him, and more so about other things! On Friday morning, the father of four jumped on the social media platform to share two new messages with his followers:
“I cried at the thought of aborting my first born and everyone was so concerned about me… I’m concerned for the world that feels you shouldn’t cry about this subject.”
“There is a tactic of 4 D’s Distract Discredit Dismiss To Destroy I am quite alright Take a second and think about what is being projected here”

The 43-year-old’s first message references his tearful speech at a presidential campaign rally in South Carolina earlier this month, where he shared with the crowd that he and wife Kim Kardashian West considered aborting North West, their first child together. He stated at the time:
“My dad wanted to abort me. My mom saved my life. There would have been no Kanye West, because my dad was too busy. I almost killed my daughter … So even if my wife were to divorce me after this speech, she brought North into the world, even when I didn’t want to. She stood up, and she protected that child.”
While multiple sources have cited that the KKW Beauty founder is understandably upset with her husband, it was only after two more Twitter rants where additional accusations were brought forth by ‘Ye that the reality star commented on her husband’s “bi-polar disorder” struggles (below), writing on her Instagram Story:
“As many of you know, Kanye has bi-polar disorder. Anyone who has this or has a loved one in their life who does, knows how incredibly complicated and painful it is to understand. I’ve never spoken publicly about how this has affected us at home because I am very protective of our children and Kanye’s right to privacy when it comes to his health. But today, I feel like I should comment on it because of the stigma and misconceptions about mental health.”
Kim has since been silent on the matter since the statement, as well as the status of their relationship. Most recently, the momma of four paid Mr. West a visit in Wyoming for an “emotional” reunion, where he has been strategizing his political aspirations and working on a new album, DONDA: With Child.
We hope Kanye can get the help he needs.
