Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, And More — See King Charles’ Official Coronation Concert Line Up!

It’s bound to be a marvelous celebration with all the musical acts King Charles has lined up for his upcoming Coronation!

On Friday, the BBC announced the official roster for the Coronation Concert — and it’s full of familiar faces! On Sunday, May 7, several acts are due to take the stage in celebration of King Charles and Queen Camilla‘s crowning. Even though acts like Adele and Ed Sheeran reportedly turned down requests for performances, Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Andrea Bocelli will be there to honor the new King! Having Katy and Lionel on the lineup is no surprise, though, as they’ve been friends with the 74-year-old for years.

With the headliners, British pop group Take That will also be performing, along with Alexis Ffrench, Sir Bryn Terfel, and Freya Ridings — in addition to the Coronation Choir.

According to the outlet, the concert will contain “a broad mix of music spanning pop to classical, along with spoken word and dance performances reflecting arts and culture from around the UK and the wider Commonwealth” and will “celebrate a new chapter in the nation’s history, with themes of love, respect and optimism, celebrating the four nations, their communities and the Commonwealth.” And there’s still more acts to be announced!

If you don’t want to miss it, you can catch the livestream straight from the grounds of Windsor Castle on any of the BBC streaming services! Whose performance are U most excited about, Perezcious readers?
