Kelly Clarkson has a special request for her fans.

During a concert at her Las Vegas residency, the 41-year-old performer seemingly referenced the recent uptick in audience members throwing things at artists during their shows.

“Whatever you do, don’t throw it at me, people,” Kelly said as she addressed the crowd. She then jokingly added, “If you’re gonna throw s**t, throw diamonds.”

Her comments come after several incidents that involved performers having things thrown at them on stage. Bebe Rexha recently suffered a black eye after being hit in the face with a cell phone, while Pink received a bag of their mother’s ashes during one of her concerts. A few days ago, Cardi B threw her microphone at a fan who tossed a cup of water in her face.
