Kim Kardashian had to face the criminals who robbed her in Paris… but not without a good luck charm from daughter North.
During Thursday’s episode of The Kardashians, the SKKN founder flew to the capital of France to testify in her Paris robbery trial. And while it must have been terrifying to face the criminals who once threatened her life, she felt “safe” with a sentimental gift given to her by North years ago.

While chatting with her longtime friend Simone Harouche, the mom-of-four presented a LEGO that her eldest daughter gave her before her infamous 2016 trip to Paris:
“Do you remember this? North gave me this LEGO and was like, ‘This is a treasure box that will keep you safe, Mommy. I’m putting magical things in it.’”
According to Kim, she was terrified of ISIS at the time, so North presented her with the gift to protect her:
“As so I’d put it by my bed and we’d be like, ‘I made it another night from ISIS!’ We kept thinking it was like ISIS that was going to get us.”
Harouche, who was with Kim on the 2016 trip, responded:
“No, I remember that part.”
In a confessional, the makeup mogul talked more about the special gift given to her by her eldest child:
“So right before my trip to Paris nine years ago, North, when I was leaving, she must’ve been 3 years old, and Saint was 1. She gave me a LEGO treasure box. For some reason, I was so nervous about going on this trip. I was so nervous about ISIS. ISIS was such a thing, and I was like, ‘Oh my god, they’re going to get us.’ When they took all my stuff, that was the only thing that they left. And so it kept me safe!”
Talking more with Harouche, the SKIMS founder added:
“[The robbers] grabbed it, because it was in the Louis Vuitton thing with all my jewelry, and they threw this out. And so this was the only thing that I got to keep, and I kept it. And I took it home with me, and I was like, ‘This kept me safe!’ Who cares about the jewels? It kept me safe.”
Awww.
She continued, before trailing off:
“So now I brought it to keep us safe. So we can like rub the little…”
Harouche responded:
“I can’t believe you … I actually remember this on the side of your [bed].”
How sweet! Also, talk about a woman’s intuition! Kim says she had a bad a feeling about ISIS, but maybe she was really honing in on the danger ahead with the robbers… Thank goodness North shielded her with a little bit of magic! We’re sure Kim will keep the special toy forever.
