His goal is to use the sale of the house to generate some income that will alleviate the “significant debt” he and the Real Housewives of Atlanta star have been struggling with in recent months.

The filing notes that the former couple faced foreclosure proceedings in February 2023, with their home set to be auctioned off in early March. However, the pair were able to avoid foreclosure and the house was taken off the auction block.

They subsequently reached an agreement with Truist Bank that placed them on “foreclosure probation,” which means that they had to make their mortgage payments every month for three months. The unpaid amount would then be placed at the back of the loan in order to avoid another foreclosure.

Kroy says they failed to make their July mortgage payment, and thus are facing foreclosure again. He also claimed that he sold some of his designer goods in order to make the payments and has requested that Kim do the same, only for her to refuse. While Kim has been selling some of her designer purses, Kroy alleged that none of the money from those sales has been put towards paying the mortgage.

He added that they had been hit with a tax lien on their residence in April 2023 in the amount of $1.1 million based on missing tax payments from 2013, 2017 and 2018. They’re also facing lawsuits from BMW, Target, American Express and more for missing payments.

Last month, it was revealed that Kim was being sued after racking up more than $150,000 in unpaid credit card charges. Find out more here.
