Late night TV is coming back!
Following the news that the WGA strike was officially over, a large group of late-night TV hosts – Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, Seth Meyers and John Oliver – announced return dates for their respective shows.

CBS’ The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and NBC’s Late Night With Seth Meyers will all return with new episodes on Monday, October 2, while HBO’s Last Week Tonight With John Oliver will kick off its new season this Sunday, October 1.
The group of entertainers, dubbed “Strike Force Five,” also issued a statement confirming the news on social media.
“We want to thank the entire Strike Force 5 team, our wives, our special guests, and apologize to Conan O’Brien, who agreed to do the pod, but Stephen forgot to send him any possible dates, and then the strike ended,” they amusingly announced.
