LeBron James' Son Bronny Suffers Cardiac Arrest, Family Releases Statement Amid Medical Emergency

NBA superstar LeBron James‘ son, Bronny, suffered a cardiac arrest episode and was rushed to the hospital.

The 18-year-old athlete was taking part in a practice at USC’s Galen Center when he suffered the medical emergency. An ambulance was called and it was deemed a “Code 3,” which means the ambulance used lights and sirens. Codes tend to tell us how serious medical events can be, and a Code 3 is serious.

The James family‘s rep has released a statement.

“Yesterday while practicing Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest. Medical staff was able to treat Bronny and take him to the hospital. He is now in stable condition and no longer in ICU. We ask for respect and privacy for the James family and we will update media when there is more information,” the family’s rep told TMZ.

LeBron and Savannah wish to publicly send their deepest thanks and appreciation to the USC medical and athletic staff for their incredible work and dedication to the safety of their athletes,” the family rep continued.

Bronny is committed to play for the Trojans and is a big talent in basketball. Many experts believe he will end up playing in the NBA like his dad.
