Last year fans wondered if the One Direction hitmakers had bad blood after the “Strip That Down” singer seemingly shaded his former bandmate during an interview. Liam later provided some clarity on his comments.

Meanwhile, Zayn appeared to reply subtly. No matter their past, the pair are publicly showing that they’re standing on solid ground in 2023.

Zayn has been hinting that new music is around the corner and shared a teaser on TikTok. Based on the snippet alone, Liam is already a fan by the looks of it!

Fans noticed that the hitmakers had an exchange in the comments section of the post!

“This sounds big already,” Liam wrote, cheering his pal on.

Zayn replied in turn: “Appreciate it bro, thanks for the love.”
