It's the rivalry that will never die.

Not now.

Not tomorrrow.

And we're guessing not in a few weeks, either.

Mackenzie Edwards and Maci Bookout simply continue to troll one another, either with direct shots or with passive agressive Tweets, Instagram posts and/or memes.

By the appearance of things, the former just went the route of the latter maneuver.

Following an explosive fight a few months ago during the Teen Mom OG reunion between Maci, her husband Taylor, and Ryan Edwards' parents, Jen and Larry, Mackenzie posted the following on Saturday:

"You're always going to be criticized," reads the message.

"So you may as well do what sets your soul on fire."

As you can see, Mackenzie makes no mention here of Maci.

However, long-time observers and dedicated MTV viewers are very much aware of the context in which Edwards uploaded this meme.

Bookout, of course, shares son Bentley with Ryan.

The poor 12-year old has been at the center of a seemingly never-ending beef between the exes and their loved ones, most notably toward the end of the latest Teen Mom OG season.

After Maci refused to let Bentley attend the birthday party of his half-brother, all H-E-Double-Hockey-Sticks broke loose.

Ryan's family blew up at Bookout, blaming her from withholding the boy from the Edwards clan.

"I am responsible for these kids' emotions and feelings, and they don't deserve that," said Mackenzie said around that time... in response to her belief that Maci forced Bentley not to attend the gathering.

She even addded:

"It's one thing to be a petty b**ch, fine, but when you're including my kids, that's not okay with me."

Maci denied making any decisions on behalf of Bentley, who she claims is now old enough to think for himself.

As a result, the very young man simply doesn't want to see his dad very often, Maci has said, not in the wake of Ryan's well-known drug problems and legal issues.

The reality star has been arrested on multiple occasions and also tried to get clean via rehab on multiple occasions.

In the end, meanwhile, Bookout then got the last laugh in this feud by basically getting Ryan fired from Teen Mom OG.

His wife and his parents won't be appearing on the show again, either.

Said a source close to production of the series in March:

“The Edwards were informed that Maci’s reps wanted to go a different direction and showcase all of her abilities.

"Maci went to production and explained she wanted her story to cover all the parts of her life," the report reads. 

"And," it continued, she would like for the show to "no longer focus on Ryan and his family.”

Both Ryan and Mackenzie have since confirmed theirr dayd as cast members are over.

But, like we said way above, the rivalry lives on!

Earlier this summer, Bookout shared a quote that read "You can't love a child you never check on."

Say it louder... she added as a caption.

Previously, Mackenzie posted a different cryptic quote of her own on social media, one that allegedly mocked Maci for how often she thinks about Edwards and comments on Edwards.

"No one watches you harder than the person who can't stand you," it read.
