We have very sad news for fans of the Teen Mom franchise:
Just a few days after Mackenzie McKee's mother, Angie, entered hospice care following a lengthy, public and brave battle against cancer... the reality star's beloved parent has passed away.
The former Teen Mom 3 star and current Teen Mom OG cast member had kept followers apprised of her mother's health crisis ever since Angie was diagnosed.
The tragic news of her passing was confirmed on Angie's official Instagram page, which noow features a beautiful photo of its creator completing a marathon, along with this message:
On Monday, December 9 at 11:37pm, Angie finished her race. Her last days were spent lovingly surrounded by family and friends as they prayed, sang, and shared funny Angie stories.

Angie found out about her cancer in January 2018. She wanted to keep everyone informed of what was going on so she made a social media post. The next day she made another. And then another.
And what started as an easy way to convey information turned into wildfire of hope that spread over the world.
She wasn’t able to sleep an entire night so she would wake up around 3am to write her posts.
We watched her get up everyday in the darkest hours of the night to spread the brightest light that she knew of, her Savior Jesus Christ.
There were times when she wrote her posts through pain and confusion.
There were times at the end when she couldn’t type and would ask her daughters to type for her but she would not give up spreading the gospel message of hope.
In nearly two years, she never missed her daily post...tomorrow she will.
But this is where you pick up the baton and run like she did mighty warrior.
You can choose this day to be like Angie and use your social media engagements to make a difference rather than disaster, to spread love and not hate, and to always be kind

In response to these words of wisdom, an endless array of suppoters have been following the advice, sharing their thoughts, prayers and inspirational messages in Angie's comments section.
McKee has not yet commented on her mother's passing, but first opened up about the brain cancer diagnosis in January of 2018, posting on Twitter that doctors had found three masses on her brain and multiple blood clots.
She then paid tribute to both her parents just a day before Angie died.
Aware that the end was near back on Deceember 6, Mackenzie Tweeted the following:
"As you pray today for momma please pray that she not be in pain anymore. Everything hurts right now and she is miserable."
In an August episode of Teen Mom OG, meanwhile, Angie broke the news to her daughter that her cancer had progressed to the point where doctors were estimating she had about six months to live.
The family had been preparing to say goodbye ever since then.
“I wanted to tell you I was better. But they told me that it’s in both femurs; it’s in my breast bone; it’s in my hip bones; this backbone that’s attached to your hip bone, it’s back there; it’s half of my liver," Angie said on the episode, adding:
"It’s in the lymph nodes of my colon and the lymph nodes in my lungs. I have another tumor in my head.”
Upon entering hospice care last week, Angie continued to update her followers, while also maintaining her positive attitude and never-ending faith.
"I’m not sure what to say … other than How God told me early in my diagnosis that He would heal me but I would have a long dark journey to take," she wrote.
"I’m starting to think this is what He meant by long dark journey."
In early September, on a Teen Mom reunion special, Mackenzie once again addressed her mother, saying on air:
"She was always the glue that held me together."
