McDonald’s fans are really going to be excited for the return of a certain menu item!
The fast food chain is slated to bring back one of it’s fan-favorite foods later this year for a limited time.
This sandwich has been on and off the menu over the years, and just last year, it had a “farewell tour” as the fast food chain was going to discontinue it for good. However, McDonald’s lovers showed how much they love it and it’s making a comeback!

The McRib, which consists of boneless pork in barbecue sauce, with onions and dill pickles, set in a hoagie-style bun, will return to McDonald’s menus in November.
“It turns out not everyone was ready to say goodbye to the McRib after last year’s Farewell Tour,” McDonald’s shared in a press release, adding that “while it won’t be available nationwide, some lucky fans may find their favorite elusive saucy sandwich at their local McDonald’s restaurants this November.”
The fan-favorite sandwich first debuted in 1981 at a location in Kansas City. At first, it flopped, but they brought it back a few years later, and has had limited runs ever since.
In the 90s and early 00s, it had a permanent spot on the menu, before being pulled and went back to limited releases.
The sandwich came back in 2020 after eight years away, and went on a farewell tour in 2022. But, now it’s returning, but will only be in select stores nationwide in the US.
