Megan Thee Stallion is putting some digital distance between herself and Tory Lanez.
As reported, the performers were involved in one chaotic night out in the Hollywood Hills late Saturday night into the early hours of Sunday morning, which saw the Say It singer get arrested for carrying a concealed weapon and the Hot Girl Summer starlet later hospitalized for suffering gunshot wounds at the scene.
While law enforcement continues their investigation into the shooting, and fans continue to speculate their own ideas of what actually went down, many noticed that Meg has unfollowed Tory on Instagram.

Ch-ch-check out proof of the relatively recent social media axe for yourself in the screen shots (below):
As we mentioned, it’s been a wild sequence of events for Lanez (real name Daystar Peterson) and the 25-year-old Houston-born artist. Things were seemingly off to a good start as the two were spotted hanging at a house party with Kylie Jenner on July 12. However, police responded to a disturbance call at the El Lay residence after gunshots were fired around 4:30 in the morning. When they arrived, witnesses told police an SUV had fled the scene and when the vehicle was located, cops found Meg and Tory, along with an unidentified woman inside, as well a gun. Lanez was arrested but later made his $35K bail. It was claimed Meg suffered injuries to her foot due to glass cuts and sought treatment at a hospital nearby, and in addition, was listed as a “victim” on the police report.
Days after the news broke, the Savage rapper took to IG to set the record straight about conflicting reports of the incident. Not only did she deny being arrested, she also revealed she underwent surgery to remove bullets from gunshots wounds at the hospital. In video footage from the incident, Megan could be seen limping with blood coming from her foot. A source later told Page Six that Lanez was the one who opened fire on her:
“Tory fired the shots from within the vehicle while Megan was outside trying to leave. There is video and the police are investigating. This is a case of a man physically harming and abusing a woman.”
Tory has not spoken out publicly about the incident, so we’re not sure where he stands on this. Although since this is an open case in which he’s being viewed as the primary suspect, we doubt he’ll be dropping any social media statements. We will keep an eye out for one, though, and update you accordingly!
Perezcious readers, got anything to say about all of this? Does Meg’s unfollow lend more credibility to her claims or is it arbitrary? Let us know (below) in the comments section.
