Meghan King Custody Agreement Has Been Decided Following CPS Scare — With Jim Edmonds’ Help!

Good news for Meghan King! She will not have to go to court to fight for child custody!

The Real Housewives of Orange County alum and her ex-husband Jim Edmonds have reached an agreement after Meghan temporarily lost custody of their three kids. Jim’s rep, Steve Honig, shared the news with Page Six on Monday, revealing:

“The custody hearing has been called off, and both sides have reached an agreement that is in the best interests of the children.”

Amazing!

As of right now, though, no details about the agreement have been made public. But it sounds like they put the kids’ needs first and were able to do this amicably. That’s wonderful.

As Perezcious readers know, the reality star shockingly lost custody after she allegedly asked a school nurse to administer unprescribed Ritalin to Hayes, one of her 7-year-old twins, per Page Six. The medication is commonly used to treat attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), though an insider told the outlet that the little boy hasn’t been diagnosed with ADHD. Without a doctor’s orders, the request sparked a big concern. The school contacted Child Protective Services, who removed the children from Meghan’s custody, restricting her to just supervised visits. A hearing to figure out the new legal arrangement was supposed to take place on December 9, but that’s been avoided thanks to this agreement.

While it’s unclear what the new deal is, the outlet learned the kids spent Thanksgiving with their dad and his new wife, Kortnie. We hope they can all settle into a new normal again!
