Meghan Markle was not laughing along with South Park this week.
As we reported, the Comedy Central series took a major swing at Meghan and Prince Harry in the latest episode of their series out last Wednesday, which was titled “The Worldwide Privacy Tour.” In the episode, characters dubbed the “Prince and Princess of Canada” bore a striking resemblance to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex while promoting the Prince’s memoir and campaigning for their privacy. Sound familiar??
Well, it turns out the episode caught the Archewell founders’ attention — and the Suits alum has been a wreck for days!

A source in California opened up to The Spectator on Monday about how the actress was dealing with the public roasting, and it doesn’t sound very good. According to the insider, Meg’s spent the last few days “upset and overwhelmed” over how she was portrayed. They went on to insist the 41-year-old “is annoyed by South Park but refuses to watch it all.”
She may not be tuning in, but her legal team definitely is! Also on Monday, royal commentator Neil Sean took to Fox News to address the potential “legal ramifications” the South Park creators might face for attacking the ex-royals. In true Meghan and Harry fashion, they’re not going to back down easily, he dished:
“According to sources close to the ex-royals, it appears that, like so many things with Meghan and Harry, this may have legal ramifications attached. Their legal team are casting an eye over the episode to see what is wrong and what could be turned into something more sinister.”
Hmm… Will they really sue? And would they even win?! It’s hard to know, but at this time, those behind the scenes at South Park have yet to receive any legal correspondence, according to Neil. As for the contents of the episode, it’s not hard to see why the former Deal or No Deal model is pissed!

As mentioned, the royal couple wasn’t named directly in the episode, but there were a ton of references to make it very obvious who the show was spoofing. First off, they looked pretty similar to their IRL selves — and Meghan’s character was even wearing the same pink outfit she rocked at the 2018 Trooping the Colour. Then there was the plot line.
The episode begins with one of the main characters, Ike, who was adopted from Canada, sobbing over the loss of the Queen of Canada — AKA Queen Elizabeth II. Harry and Meghan’s characters are then seen at a large state funeral, where they are booed by the rest of the royal family and accused of bashing the monarchy. Because of all the hate, they go on a daytime talk show to demand their privacy while also promoting the prince’s new memoir, also reminiscent of Spare. They enter the show caring picket signs reading, “we want privacy” and “stop looking at us.” As the host pokes numerous holes in their narrative, the red-head argues:
“We just want to be normal people — all this attention is so hard.”
After the host questions how sincerely they want privacy, they storm off the set and go on a worldwide privacy tour, hitting up places like France, India, and Australia. Eventually, they settle in South Park, Colorado since they think the location will make it seem like they’re serious about wanting to be normal.
Almost immediately, the couple begins to clash with the locals, particularly as they’re basically throwing a party outside their home — attracting all sorts of attention — while demanding their privacy. One morning, another main character, Kyle, wakes up to find their house has been covered with magazines featuring the princess, including one that looks very similar to The Cut. When confronted, she claims “he victimized” her, sending her husband running to her defense, yelling:
“This is an outrage! We’ll see how he deals with my blue penis!”
Yup, they even called out Harry’s frostbitten penis! LOLz!! The couple then goes to a marketing agency to seek help, but the branding manager says they are both acting like a “victim,” while adding that Meghan is also a “sorority girl, actress, [and] influencer” and Harry is a “royal prince, millionaire, [and] world traveler.” Eventually, Harry gives up, saying:
“Trying to make ourselves into a brand just turned us into products. No more magazines and Netflix shows, we can just live a normal life!”
But when he leaves, Meghan doesn’t follow. Oof! Pretty brutal!! And obviously very similar to the real royal family drama, too! No wonder they’re mad AF! But do you think they will follow through with a lawsuit? Sound OFF (below)!
