Morgan Wade is opening up about the romance rumors between her and Kyle Richards.

The 28-year-old country singer spoke to 103.5 KISS FM over the weekend, telling the radio station that they are still just friends and nothing more.

“It’s been a lot,” Morgan shared about the gossip that’s about her and Kyle. “It’s weird, it’s strange. I’m like,, ‘Just leave me alone.’ Now it’s just, like, whatever. We’re good friends and it’s funny.”

Morgan also said that the rumors did bother her at first.

“At first, I was not looking at it that way because you wake up one morning and it’s like all this stuff about you on the Internet, and I’m not used to that at all,” she shared. “I’m not a reality television star. I like to be left alone and write music.”

However, she’s using the rumors to her advantage, and Kyle will star in her upcoming music video for “Fall in Love With Me” as her love interested.

“We made this really sweet video and it’s nice to be able to bring light to a same-sex relationship in country music,” she said. “I’m not mad about that. I’ve met a lot of people that are excited about that and I’m like, ‘If we can make something good out of a gossipy situation, I’m gonna do it.’”

Morgan and Kyle have been seen out together multiple times, amid Kyle‘s separation from husband Mauricio Umansky.
