NFL Defends Coverage of Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Relationship Amid Her Attendance of Chiefs Games

The NFL (National Football League) is standing tall on their coverage of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s burgeoning romance.

The pair’s relationship, and the 33-year-old entertainer attending two games, has been a big subject matter and has garnered a lot of attention, including during the games.

While many have said it’s too much, others have defended it, and the NFL has released a statement to stand up for themselves and their coverage of Taylor and Travis, which has included having Taylor at a game cheering him on in their X profile header, and adding her to their Instagram bio.

“We frequently change our bios and profile imagery based on what’s happening in and around our games, as well as culturally,” the NFL shared in a statement to People. “The Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce news has been a pop cultural moment we’ve leaned into in real time, as it’s an intersection of sport and entertainment, and we’ve seen an incredible amount of positivity around the sport.”

“The vast majority of our content has remained focused on the game, our players and variety of other initiatives, including our Toy Story Funday Football alt-cast, the international games and more,” the statement added.
